The good news is that because of the
hydroxyurea David’s white blood cell count has dropped while his hematocrit has been holding fairly steady. He had a platelet infusion yesterday, which shows in the count.

The bad news is that because of the hydroxyurea,
David is disqualified from continuing the CPI-0610 clinical trial.
David’s still inpatient, but for the
first time in about a week he’s got an appetite and about to try some solid
food.
